Neptunas - La Dolce Velveeta
This recording was a complete surprise for me. I had gone to a club to record another band. The Neptunas were one of the opening bands. The Neptunas had previously been a surf / instrumental band. I think this was one of their first shows as more of a 1960s garage rock band. When they saw me, they asked if I could record them. They liked the recording, and released the complete show.
This recording was done with my trusty Sony TC-D5M and a pair of Audio-Technica AT801 microphones on stage.
